This is a draft that has not yet been reviewed by counsel. The short version: Mixhand works on your local network, and we collect nothing about you in version 1.
Works on your local network
Mixhand talks to your mixer and to your own hub over the Wi-Fi or cable network you are on. This traffic does not go through our servers and does not need the internet.
Audio never passes through us. Mixhand only reads and changes console parameters, such as faders, mutes and names.
No account
Version 1 needs no account. We do not ask for your name or e-mail to use live control.
No tracking
Mixhand sends no analytics or crash reports unless you switch that on yourself. This website uses no analytics and sets no cookies.
What stays on your device
Mixhand stores on your device the mixers you added, your layouts and settings, and, on a hub, the names of the devices you approved. This stays on that device.
Camera and local network
On a phone, Mixhand asks for the camera only to read the code on your engineer's screen, and for local network access to reach the hub. Nothing is recorded or sent.
App stores
If you install from the App Store, Apple handles your purchases and its own data as described in its policies.
Changes
Accounts, cloud sync and paid extras may come later. Before they do, this policy will be updated and we will say what is collected and why.
